Zoramena is the Basque word for “madness.”

And madness is exactly what the band delivers at every show. Devoted to the DIY approach, they are completely self-produced, having built their first single “Speck of Dust” entirely from the home studio in Coeur D’Alene Idaho. Zoramena is hard to assign to any particular era or trend, but one thing is for certain. Ben Vogel and Pauly B are on a mission to bring earnest, unapologetic rock n’ roll to the 2020s.

Until this year, the band has been performing lead singer and guitarist Ben Vogel’s original material. His 2022 solo album “Revealed” was recognized on I Don’t Hear a Single, Tongue Tied Magazine, North Idaho Now! podcast, BattleStar Eclectica on KYRS radio, and more. Zoramena’s newest song “Speck of Dust” is featured on Obscure Sound.

With their first release under their belt in 2023, the band is working on producing more original material and continuing to perform regionally throughout western North America.
